On returning to the UK Adrian took up a position as a trader in a city-based Japanese firm but soon decided it was not for him and embarked on a career in journalism.

He worked as a road tester and writer for Auto Express and Top Gear magazines and contributed articles for the Daily Telegraph and Maxim magazine.

Before long Adrian joined the team of presenters on BBC Top Gear. Eighteen months and some fifty programmes later Adrian then transferred with the rest of the show's line-up to Five's Fifth Gear.

Already Adrian was in demand for other shows co-presenting Discovery's invention programme What's the Big Idea? with Suzi Perry and fronting Discovery's Thunder Races.

Adrian then went on to present Five's The Gadget Show, again co-presenting with Suzi Perry and hosted Sky One's So You Think You're Safe with Liz Bonnin. Last year, he filmed a new 30 part series of Police, Camera, Action for ITV1 and ITV4 and he's about to begin filming a new series.

He is also a seasoned corporate presenter.

Adrian has also renovated several houses himself and runs a property development company with friends. He is a Director of an internet travel company.

Adrian loves music and sport with equal passion particularly rugby, cycling, motor-sport and snowboarding. He recently completed a stage of the Tour de France.

He lives with his wife and daughter in London.
