Angus was born and brought up in Scotland. His television career began behind the camera in news:
Five News and GMTV where he developed a solid journalistic background.
Now courting the lens, he has become a familiar face on our TV screens presenting a mix of shows across various networks. In Scotland he is the face of STV's all-new Postcode Lottery. He is best known for fronting six series of BBC One’s hugely successful antique show Cash In The Attic. Prior to this, he was the face of three series of Channel 4’s Room For Improvement on which he lent his design, interior and property buying skills to ninety-five home renovators.
He covered the red carpet at the BAFTAS/ LA in Hollywood and tried (yet failed miserably!) to contact the other side during two series of Ghost Towns and Ghost Towns Live for Living. Other credits include BBC's Celebrity Ready Steady Cook, LBC 97.3 and appearances on Scottish TV, The Travel Channel, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Three, Channel 4 Radio and Amnesty International (he plays the lead ‘Clive’ in current cinema campaign). His corporate clients include RBS, British Airways, HBOS, Volkswagen, Edinburgh College of Art and Visit Scotland. He is a regular travel columnist for various publications.
Self-confessed property expert, Angus splits his time between London and his beloved home city of Glasgow where he is renovating two B-listed properties which clearly taste forgot.
His interests include food, travel (he speaks fluent Italian), interiors, architecture, consumer issues and current affairs. He is an ambassador of Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres.
