Dave started his television career as the face of Five's children's strand, shake! from February 2005 to March 2007. He then moved onto Five's younger children's strand, milkshake! until March 2008. With both live and pre-recorded shows he gained great experience in the world of presenting. He has also followed his passion for sport and presented the 20 episode series Extreme Football with ex England defender, Greame LeSaux in 2005, which was all on location. After the success of Extreme Football, he presented Extreme Football Extra also in 2005, both appearing on five. Away from television, he presented and appeared in the milkshake! Live Show at Butlins in 2006. This year looks to be an exciting year for Dave, as he has many projects on the go, including presenting the music competition, Live and Unsigned and being the Director for Milkshake.
He's a massive believer in being able to do a better job in front of the camera, if he knows how it all works behind the camera, so decided to do DVCAM and Avid Edit training. This enabled him to become the promo producer for milkshake whilst continuing his presenting. He's also filmed and produced many milkshake and shake shoots for broadcast and website viewing, which all led to the appointment of being Director which he thoroughly enjoys.
Before breaking into television he worked abroad in hotels in the Canary Islands as the Entertainments Manager for a Spanish entertainments company called Hotetur. This covered many areas, from presenting, singing, acting and dancing on stage to kids clubs, adult games and just generally keeping everyone entertained.
David loves music, sport, socialising, cooking, DIY, films, watching a good bit of telly and spending time with his friends and family. He is a fresh, humorous and captivating presenter, whose passion for presenting is only beaten by his passion to do well at it!
